Sitting at the table and observing inequity, injustice, lack of emotional responsibility, clumsy reinforcement of patriarchal values, and out-of-date standards that honor heteronormativity and capitalism. Without trying, as you sit there, you are a threat to their serenity, their reckless dedication to uninformed practices, their misplaced pride, and their expectations of who you are.

Solo based on research surrounding neurodiversity, examining the side effects of following my own neuroses and how they connect to movement. Choreography inspired by two Bay Area artists. Q’s: Does this method lead to habit-forming or breaking? Is the found movement and headspace comfortable/familiar or difficult/new?
